Deliveries

Delivery is free on orders over £75, £3.99 on orders below £75. Delivery 2-4 working days from order placement.

All orders are processed Monday through Friday, with a cut off time of 3pm. Orders placed after 3pm on Friday will be processed on the next working day, Monday.

Returns

Items can be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery. We cannot offer exchanges. Please refer to our Delivery and Returns page for further information.

*Please note we do not accept returns on unwanted earrings, underwear and swimming costumes (bikinis etc.) toiletries or cosmetics for hygiene reasons, unless they are faulty.

Welcome to Nicholls Online. We ask you to read these terms and conditions carefully before you place an order because they contain important information about your order

Online Shopping

We have taken every care to ensure that the photographic representation, description and specification of each product is accurate. However, a slight variation in the actual goods may occur even though the reproduction of colours is a close representation. We regret that we cannot absolutely guarantee that the product images on the website are a totally accurate representation of the actual merchandise.

We cannot accept registration from any person under 18 and ask visitors under this age not to submit any information to us

When you submit an order through our website you are confirming that the payments details are correct and valid and that payment will be made in full once the order is accepted. You are also confirming that you are the person referred to in the billing details.

Acceptance of your Order

You can place an order with Nicholls online.

In certain circumstances we may not be able to accept your order. This may be as a result of

  • Non authorisation of payment
  • The product being out of stock
  • There having been a pricing or description error

We will acknowledge the receipt of your order with an email containing exact details of the order. Please do not consider this email as an order confirmation or order acceptance from Nicholls. Should you not receive an acknowledgment within 5 business days, please contact us via email or by telephone on 01873 810571 Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

The order is accepted and the completion of the contract between you and Nicholls will take place when your order is dispatched, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with the relevant order cancellation instructions

Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order placed online please contact our customer services team. You can do this either by

  • Telephone on 01873 810571 Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Email to nichollsonline@wmnicholls.co.uk stating your intention to cancel the order.
  • By writing to customer services at Nicholls of Crickhowell, 19 High Street, Crickhowell, Powys. NP8 1BD
  • Returning the goods in perfect condition, in original packaging with all labels still attached within 14 days of receipt along with the goods return form

Nicholls tries to process orders as quickly as possible and in some cases an order may be processed before we receive your notice to cancel. If your order has already been dispatched please return the order following the instructions contained within the parcel

RETURNS

The Returns Policy applies to goods purchased on the website. Further information on how to return your goods can be found on our Delivery and Returns page. This is in addition to your statutory rights.

  • We will accept unwanted goods returned for a refund but only if they are returned in their original condition, unused (with their original packaging), with garment tags still attached within 14 days of cancellation with the Returns Form provided.
  • In order to obtain a refund you must notify us of your intention to cancel your contract within 14 days of receipt of the goods (or prior to delivery). If the product is faulty or damaged we will refund your original delivery charge.
  • The following items cannot be returned. However, if the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied goods your statutory rights are unaffected.

o Goods which have been made or ordered to a customer's specification;

o For reasons of hygiene we cannot accept returns of pierced jewellery or hair accessories;

o For reasons of hygiene we cannot accept returns of cosmetics and toiletries;

o For reasons of hygiene we cannot accept returns of underwear or bathing suits.

  • Any goods returned without the packaging will be deemed as second hand and we will not be able to exchange them. You can take the goods out of the packaging to try them out, but don't throw it away. Make sure that garment labels are not removed.
  • Please DO NOT affix any labels to products or packaging as this will cause damage to the products/ packaging and may result in a refusal of your refund.
  • Refunds will be made against the original form of tender. Refunds and exchanges on purchases made under promotional events are made at the discounted value.
  • If you are returning goods issued with a free promotional gift then the returned goods must include such promotional gift.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on items that have been ordered especially for you as a Special Order.
  • Please allow up to 7 working days for all returns to be processed..

We recommend using a tracked service for your return, Nicholls cannot be held liable if your return is sent via an untracked service

The goods must be returned unused, with all garment tags attached and with their original undamaged packaging. We will consider the condition of the goods being returned when making a refund.

Please return the item to us within 14 days of cancellation in order to receive a full refund. If you notify us of your intention to cancel the contract but do not return the goods to us we reserve the right to deduct the cost incurred by us in recovering the goods, from any refund you are owed.

None of the above terms affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied nor does it affect your rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations.

Payments

We only accept payment for orders in £ sterling.

We accept payment by Maestro, MasterCard, Visa and Visa Debit.

If you choose to pay for an item using a payment card with a foreign currency denominated account, the account will still be taken in £ sterling at the conversion rate applied by the relevant payment scheme at the time of processing your order.

Please note, we cannot guarantee the security of data which you send us by email. Accordingly, please do not send us payment information using email. For details of the security measures we employ please read our Security and Privacy policy.

Unless we are fraudulent or negligent we will not be liable to you for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to the personal and transactional information you provide us when placing an order.

Please note that we cannot accept cash, cheques or gift vouchers as payment online.

Pricing Policy

All prices shown on the website are in £ sterling and are inclusive of VAT, where applicable. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time.

Our policy is to ensure that prices on our website are accurate. However, errors may sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you, we may treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced item as cancelled.

From time to time we may offer additional discounts for purchases online that do not apply in our retail stores and vice versa.

Product Availability / Information

We feature products on our website that have been carefully selected for Online Shopping. Once an item is sold out it will be taken off the website at the earliest opportunity and may not be available again. Prices of products may change from time to time. If items that you order are out of stock, subject to a delay or the price is higher than that shown on your order, we will try to contact you at the email address or telephone number you provided when placing your order. If we cannot contact you or receive no response to an email we send to you, we will cancel the part of your order that is unavailable or incorrectly priced, and will continue to process the remaining items on your order (where applicable). All items are subject to availability. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, it is necessary to substitute an item, the item will be of equal or greater value than that which it replaces and substitutions will only be made with your prior consent. If a replacement item is of greater value you will be liable to pay for the difference in values.

Delivery Timing

We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates and therefore please allow up to 7 working days for delivery within UK and 14 working days for Channel Islands. This is subject to goods being in stock, payment authorisation and you should allow for a longer delivery time during the Christmas and sale periods. We are unable to guarantee delivery earlier than this time frame.

Please note all shortages or delivery errors must be notified to us within 48hours of delivery. Failure to notify us within this time frame may result in Nicholls or our delivery partners being unable to rectify the problem.
